I wrote a book over the last year or so (did a few drafts of it), and in the editorial process my editor, Jennifer Brozek, did actually take out all of my left-out oxford comma instances and put in commas, which she cannot do on my blog! Muahaha.
Yes, I laugh in sinister manners over oxford commas. Leave me alone.
Where was I? Oh yes! A book. I’m going to be coming out with a book through world’s finest (is that trademarked?) publisher Evil Girlfriend Media in short order. What I get asked by most people when they hear this is “How do you write a book?” Snarky as I am, I’m tempted to say “install MS Word, then start typing” but I actually have a very organized process, which might or might not work for you, so I’m going to share that as I begin writing another book for NaNoWriMo this year. This preparation will take place over the next few days and hopefully will lead to something nice that I can start writing on November 1 — and I hope you’ll find it useful for yours too!
