I often have friends releasing books, but very rarely two on the same day, so this is a special occasion.
1636: Mission to the Mughals
First up is Griffin Barber, a great friend of mine for a long time and incredible person with a deep perspective and a heart of gold. I’ve had the pleasure of reading some of his writing and it’s fantastic, action driven work. This time, he teamed up with Eric Flint, of whom I had a wonderful conversation with at last year’s Gencon, for Flint’s 1636 alternate history universe. I know Griffin put a ton of research and work into this, and if it floats your boat, check it out:
Pathfinder Tales: Gears of Faith
Next is Gabriell Harbowy. I first met Gabrielle at Dragon*Con in 2012, and have read several of her wonderfully made anthologies, starting with When The Hero Comes Home. The first I read of her own fiction was a short in Evil Girlfriend Media’s Witches, Stitches and Bitches. I found her writing to be gripping and compelling. I’ve spent some good time with her and she is a kind and fun person. Moreover, this is a Pathfinder Novel, and I have a soft spot for game-related tie-ins.
