   Berserk is quite a ride. Having read the manga several times, you’re review is spot on. It does get a bit darker than I would think most people are prepared for but if you like dark fantasy it’s great and the art is quite amazing.

   I think it does slow down in the later volumes, but the first 20 or so volumes are very good.

   And if that scene is where the first deluxe volume ends, oh boy, Jon, you’re just getting started on this wild ride.
