Not Really Missing Twitter

August 6, 2020 by Jon Del Arroz Leave a Comment

It begs the question, what’s the point?

The throttling so folk couldn’t see any posts. The inability to reach new people. When you push a platform to a position like that it becomes absolutely useless.

It’s been a problem for awhile and it’s exacerbated lately. They’re even locking the president of out of his account now in their hubris.

But moreover — that’s the only place on the internet people constantly pick and fight all the time. It’s a toxic environment. I definitely recommend getting off of there.

They booted me off for calling Ana Navarro a “pinche gordita”, and at this point I think I really ought to thank them. I’m calmer and more productive without that filth pipe.

That’s a shame. I hadn’t been seeing your tweets for some time before this. Still, it was good to get the occasional updated on new releases and stuff.

I’ve thought about just posting comics updates, but it’s hard to engage people/build an audience with just that.

    No Gab?
