Last night I streamed with John C. Wright. It was a very good time if you missed it, with a lot of great topics covered. Definitely something to check out.
Something struck me though in the conversation, when he mentioned I wasn’t giving enough credit to the power of prayer.
He’s right, and listening to his experiences with having his life transformed by a single prayer, and having countless other examples I’ve heard and seen personally mean I need to be focusing on prayer more, and so should everyone else for that matter.
It’s written: Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. – 1 Thess 5:16-18.
Without cease is a lot further than the woeful amount I do now. Join me this week in prayer for our country, for our collective healths, and for giving thanks to the Lord for all he’s given us, which is far more than any generation in history.
