The last couple of years I haven’t watched a lot of football, but I do make sure to tune into the divisional round forward to watch Tom Brady’s performances. Throughout the season, commentators for the last few years have talked about how brady’s “lost it” on repeat, harping on any error as if he’s somehow become a worse quarterback, something which never comes to fruition in the playoffs.
Brady’s mastered the art of playing harder when it matters. Fourth quarter performances, playoff performances, etc. that one knows when it’s important to watch his play.
He showed again yesterday that he was the master, better than anyone else, and it’s because he works harder than everyone else. He refuses to lose.
I watched this and I see a true role model with true inspiration. So I’m going to get back to trying to follow his routine to better myself. That’s what one should do when you find someone inspiring. There’s a lot of haters, but it’s because they know their own failings could never get to his level.
And what it comes down to with him is discipline. Discipline beyond others is what wins in anything. Discipline is the way.
