Last week we saw the cringiest moment where Zack Snyder disavowed Geeks + Gamers right on their channel, making some bizarre statement about “hate” and “being an Asian father.”
I am wrong already, because Geeks + Gamers pulled an even cringier response to his statement. Instead of hitting back, calling Snyder a corporate shill SJW, ignoring his work because of the way he treats right wing movements, Jeremy from G+G called for everyone to enjoy the film anyway as if it were some sort of statement they’re “better” than Snyder, and rambled about his “brand” on repeat.
The problem is, G+G doesn’t have a brand. They’re just a channel that whines about Star War and opens their soy mouths about the Snyder Cut and does little else. A hit like this is devastating to them because they have nothing. They create nothing. They support nothing independent from coomer culture.
It’s a lesson on how not to handle situations like this. SJWs are not rational. They do not look at your virture. They do not care whether your cast is “so diverse”. The more you play to that, the more you just fall into a spiral where no one cares– because the only reason people watch you, G+G, is they’re opposed to that nonsense getting lectured at them by Hollywood. You aping it just looks retarded, I mean, uh, differently abled, amirite?
You don’t win a war of political correctness by supporting these corporations anyway. You can’t go off on how great the Snyder Cut is when he acted like this toward you. It just makes you a completely abused simp. And that’s all “muh brand” is shaping up to me.
