Leftists all across America have been in hysterics. They claim we’re headed for a new American Civil War. This has been parroted in media, to include the pilot episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Now the left is talking about a new film set to come out in April. This film, from A24 Studios and British director Alex Garland, is simply entitled “Civil War.”
Garland seems to be walking a tightrope of not portraying this as a war between the left and right, politically. He is doing this by having Texas and California being on the same side against a tyrannical government. There are clues in the trailer, however, that it may not be free of partisan messaging. From the trailer in the film we see a president who is a tyrant.
He is serving an illegal third term, while ordering airstrikes against American cities and having journalists in D.C. shot on sight. There are concerns by many on the right who have seen the trailer that this character may be a stand-in for Donald Trump. While Garland hasn’t made any statements to suggest this, it does seem plausible.
The timing of the film’s release may also be calculated to try to scare voters away from voting for Trump. This could be done by portraying a Trump stand-in character as a dictator. Clearly, while Trump is many things, he has never tended to act as a dictator. All the while those same leftists are supporting policies that are blatantly autocratic.
Could these concerns about the film’s purpose be unfounded? Could it turn out to simply be a fun action movie? It’s certainly possible. It seems unlikely, though.
Many movies these days are saturated with woke politics and whatever leftist message the political elites want to cram down people’s throats. The movies that actually do best at the box office, though, are movies with clear moral values and patriotism. Movies like “The Shift,” and “Top Gun: Maverick.”
Even movies with messaging that is leftist in nature can do well. This is assuming the message doesn’t become the plot. There should also be a good plot, good character development, and a lack of Mary Sue characters.
What do you think? Do you think the upcoming Civil War movie is predictive programming? Is it a leftist projection or not? Let us know in the comments section below.

Of course this upcoming movie scares Leftists. Leftists are wimps, who are so up their ideology’s butt. I felt, Alex Garland was high on cocaine, when he did this movie.

Meanwhile, we can’t get Correia’s Monster Hunter made, never mind a real 2nd Civil War pulp story like Matt Bracken’s Enemies Trilogy
