Erin Moriarty, the 29-year-old actress known for her portrayal of Starlight in the Amazon Prime series The Boys, is generating buzz as the show gears up for its fourth season. However, it’s not the imminent premiere of The Boys and Starlight that’s stealing the spotlight but rather Erin Moriarty’s recent Instagram post, accompanied by a caption that reads, “Watch me de-sophisticate before your very eyes.” The post features a photograph that has sparked substantial criticism regarding her altered physical appearance.

Women need to stop plastic surgery until we figure out what's wrong. Why would you ruin your face like this?

SinceThe Boys’ Starlight star Erin Moriarty’s post, a tweet has gone viral comparing before-and-after images of the actress, suggesting the possibility of extensive cosmetic enhancements, such as lip injections or a nose job. Examining photos spanning from 2013 to 2023, observers note a subtle transformation in the shape of Moriarty’s nose, now appearing narrower and straighter, potentially indicative of rhinoplasty. Additionally, a slight augmentation in lip size is noticeable, hinting at possible lip augmentation.

These changes appear so drastic that it is difficult to attribute them to the natural aging process and the transformative effects of makeup. The tweet showcasing before-and-after images of Starlight star Erin Moriarty has gained considerable traction, suggesting the actress underwent significant plastic surgery during the summer, coinciding with the writer’s strike. The tweet, viewed over 11 million times, intensified speculation about potential procedures, including a nose job, botox, cheek and lip fillers, and even a facelift.

Moriarty, as of now, has not confirmed or denied these speculations. The absence of official confirmation leaves room for debate about the authenticity of the alleged procedures. The tweet’s images, however, present a compelling case for the possibility of surgical enhancements.

Plastic surgery is a prevalent choice in Hollywood, driven by personal preferences, societal pressures, career demands, and the desire to address insecurities, and their vanity is exploited by plastic surgeon.

At 29, Erin Moriarty’s potential and totally unnecessary procedures have sparked surprise and disapproval among fans, with many expressing shock and belief that she may not have needed any cosmetic alterations. The controversy surrounding Moriarty’s evolving appearance leaves fans wondering if Erin Moriarty will still be recognisable as Starlight in The Boys fourth season.

You know a society is trouble when women alter themselves and look like drag queens.

Girls like her feel like they aren’t taken seriously because they have such young, childish faces. Women are already spoken down to on a daily basis.

I was a professional manager, and I also have a very young face. You get called “harsh” and “bossy” if you try to force people to see you as more authoritative. It’s such a catch 22, and it’s deeply frustrating.

It actually makes a lot of sense, wanting to remove the baby fat, and be less of a “cute” and “innocent” looking. Being typecast in life is HARD.

People keep on phrasing this occurrence like it’s just women chasing fashion— but look CLOSELY at who is having buccal fat removal. It’s girls who were child actresses who are trying to break out of childlike roles.
