A recent leak suggests 2024 could be a monumental year for PC gamers, with potential ports of some of the most anticipated PlayStation 5 exclusives. The leak from an alleged Nixxes Software employee indicates six additional PlayStation titles may launch on PC in 2024, including heavy-hitters like The Last of Us Part II, Gran Turismo 7, Ghost of Tsushima, Demon’s Souls, and God of War Ragnarok.
Nixxes is known for its work porting first-party Sony titles to PC, with previous successful conversions of games like Marvel’s Spider-Man, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and the visually stunning The Last of Us Part I remake.
While tantalizing, it’s vital to take the leak with caution, although it does align with earlier rumors of a Ghost of Tsushima PC port. Additionally, the alleged employee shared Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is slated for a 2025 PC release. However, following a recent hack of Marvel’s Spider-Man developer Insomniac Games, some game files and a somewhat playable build have leaked online. It’s best to avoid these due to potential tampering.
A web developer discovered two years ago how to gain access to a list of every game in Nvidia’s GeForce Now database back in 2022. The internet went crazy over that enormous list and found literally dozens of games that weren’t even released yet or hadn’t been announced. Nvidia maintained that the previously unannounced games were only speculative, but announcements soon began to roll in.

Sony released God of War on the PC. Square Enix remastered Tactics Ogre and Chrono Cross. Capcom revealed Dragon’s Dogma 2. Several of the most well-known and improbable names on the Nvidia leak list came to pass, including Helldivers 2, Mortal Kombat 1, and Total War: Pharaoh. Beyond the PlayStation, Sony is also having its cornerstone Square Enix franchise, Final Fantasy, going the way of Xbox and PC soon.
Horizon: Forbidden West is already confirmed for a 2024 PC launch, so PlayStation fans-turned-PC gamers will have no shortage of former exclusives to enjoy. Some have joked the leak’s accuracy stems from the glaring omission of Bloodborne, which, despite years of remastering rumors, has seen no official confirmation from Sony.
Treat these leaked ports merely as rumors for now. However, considering many titles from the infamous 2021 NVIDIA leak eventually released on PC, a 2024 flood of PlayStation exclusives makes the jump seem feasible. For now, PC players can look forward to The Last of Us Part II and the Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition this year.
