Batman Arkham Knight has seen a whopping 50% increase in sales on Playstation as Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League remains on life support, desperate for Rocksteady to put it out of its misery.

SSKTJL was an utter disappointment both in story and gameplay, but fortunately, the negative reviews and online discourse are managing to steer players toward an objectively superior title from nearly a decade ago. And the reasons are obvious to anyone that’s been paying attention since the launch of SSKTJL.
In Rocksteady and Sweet Baby Inc.’s malformed birth defect, fans of the Arkham series saw a beloved character dragged back out into the spotlight only to be killed off in a lame and uninspired way. They also saw a complete downgrade from the beauty that was 2015 Gotham City compared to the drab destruction of Metropolis. It makes sense that gamers would choose to avoid the new title and instead pick up Arkham Knight again, as the game holds up to this day, being better than most AAA releases currently.

Since the release of SSKTJL, many gamers have posted side-by-side comparisons between it and Arkham Knight. And there is just no contest on which game is more appealing visually.
And that’s not even touching on the story of Arkham Knight. This was the final battle between Joker and Batman, which held the greatest send-off for both. Joker is locked away in Batman’s mind, where he’s left to be forgotten by all, his greatest fear. And Batman’s ending is literally peak fiction.
When compared to SSKTJL, it’s evident in the player count as the live service game peaked at less than half of what the Live Service Avengers game managed(which was canceled after roughly a year). And over the past few days has struggled to keep anywhere from 2,000-6,000 active players at a time.
At the rate that it’s going in another week, we may see the Arkham Knight steam players beat out those of SSKTJL as that game is already managing 2,000-3,000 players regularly.
Do you think we’ll see Arkham Knight beat out SSKTJL on Steam? Is there any lower that SSKTJL can even fall after that?

Keep in mind this game, and the other two Arkham games, were at one point being given away completely for free, with no DRM strings attached, by Epic Games Store. lol
