The Young Adult or Teen book publishing industry has been pushing a grooming agenda for a long time. Aimed mostly at teenaged girls, these books are filled with sexual situations, anti-white racism, and pushing the transgender agenda upon children. Now, HarperCollins with their HarperTeen imprint is putting out a book Girlmode by Mags Visaggio, whose real name is Brian along with artist Paulina Ganucheau to try to convince young girls that boys who dress as girls are the same as them.

Mags posted about the book, saying, “Phoebe’s 16, and she just moved from NY to CA and transitioned at the same time. Now she’s gotta learn what’s expected of her. It’s a lot.” She then made a second post inthe thread saying, “It’s a story about adolescence and suddenly being aware of the expectations people place on you and your body, being suddenly commodified and sexualized before you even really know it’s happening. it’s also about surfing and musicals and friendship and boys.”

This announcement comes after Mags Visaggio has made posts taunting fans about turning their favorite characters trans in the last several months. Most notably, Mags Visaggio made a pitch to DC Comics to turn Superboy into a trans girl in a creepy self-insert which DC Comics had the sense to reject.

In the pitch, posted as a Dropbox link to a PDF, Visaggio outlines a 12-24 issue series for Superboy which starts like a regular action comic that harkens back to Superboy’s science fiction adventures with the Legion of Superheroes, but as it continues along, Superboy is faced with an identity crisis where he feels like he isn’t a real person because of the fact he’s a clone of Kal-El.

The storyline eventually forces him to become Superman, to which Visaggio pleads DC make a Superman family line-wide event to highlight his story before Conner Kent gets a magic rod, enters a chamber, and comes out the other side a real woman.

With Girlmode, Mags Visaggio takes trans activism to the next level with an entire kid-focused project with a 16 year old male protagonist who’s dressing like a girl and getting all of his friends to accept his falsehood. Clearly aimed at children with bright colors and a cartoony flair, this is an active attempt at grooming.

One of Mags Visaggio’s trans followers seemed to confirm the grooming effort, saying, “Congrats, Mags!! This looks like something I would’ve killed for as a teenager!!”

Mags Visaggio followed by stating an ominious, “thats why I wrote it! among other reasons!”

HarperTeen is pushing young children into destructive lifestyles which will harm young children as they age both from a physical and psychological perspective.

Archbishop Alexander Sample of the Archdiocese of Portland, Oregon noted in his A Catholic Response to Gender Identity that “‘gender identity theory’ [is] a framework that is increasingly dominant in Western culture.”

Archbishop Sample goes on to explain that this “theory,” “affirms the subjective sense of gender over the objective fact of biological sex and recommends the process of ‘transitioning’ to identify as one’s chosen, rather than given, sex.”

Archbishop Sample even speaks out against the mutilation of children for transgender ideology. He explains, “It is well documented that transgender people have higher risks of suicide, and thus it is supposed that these procedures are ultimately life-saving. However, these claims are not well supported by scientific evidence, particularly when it comes to treating gender dysphoric young people. … One of the few robust, long-term studies available found that individuals have undergone medical transition have a rate of suicidality that is 19 times higher than the general population. … The evidence indicates that medical transition, at best, does not solve the problem of elevated suicidality and, at worst, exacerbates it.”

As for the idea that politicians should not act on behalf of the good of people, and put a stop to body mutilation practices, this is contrary to Catholic teaching. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches, “Political authorities are obliged to respect the fundamental rights of the human person. They will dispense justice humanely by respecting the rights of everyone, especially of families and the disadvantaged.”

HarperTeen and Mags Visaggio’s Girlmode is a vile evil in publishing, and par for the course for the comic industry’s collapse over the last several years.

HarperCollins really is an evil publishing company, that needs to go out of business.
