Comic industry whisper network queen Alex De Campi has been fairly silent about the Ed Piskor situation ever since he dropped his suicide note on Facebook. The embattled Cartoonist Kayfabe artist named several names responsible for his demise, including Alex De Campi, Evan Dorkin, and Ramon Villalobos. With the comic industry being such an insular and overly political place, Ed Piskor voiced feeling like there was no return with his friends abandoning him before his tragic demise.
The Ed Piskor tragedy started when the Cartoonist Kayfabe artist faced allegations of sexual misconduct from an artist on Instagram who goes by @sydgoblin, accusing him of grooming and posting several screenshots where he called her “naughty girl” amongst other obvious flirtations, stating the DMs came from when she was 17.
Another artist, Molly W, said that Ed Piskor had similar behavior with her, though she was an adult at the time.

In his final letter, Ed Piskor claimed the first accusations were out of context and the second was just a woman scorned trying to pile on against him amidst allegations. However, more women have come forward to Fandom Pulse privately with further allegations of similar behavior, casting a shadow on his final words.
Alex De Campi has made a career of identity politics and cancel culture through the comic industry, attacking creators to build her small network and following with many, including Ed Piskor in his final note, accusing her of having so little talent that she still hasn’t been able to garner a foothold in the industry. She posted quite a bit on the Ed Piskor situation initially, saying:
“All I want is for young women to be able to draw and post their work online and not get ‘immediately’ descended upon by sad older comics dudes who can’t get anyone else to fuck them in the hope that they can bamboozle the fresh meat into giving them the time today.”

Alex De Campi followed up with bizarre virtue signals regarding the Ed Piskor Cartoonist Kayfabe situation, including “female-presenting” people.
Now, Alex De Campi has broken her silence on the situation, retweeting another tweet rather than making her post. The tweet read, “It has always been really hard for women to come forward when men in our industry try to use their position in disgusting and coercive ways. This week a dude made it 1000 times harder. I feel like the call needs to be for the men in this industry to do the work that Piskor was unwilling to do.”

As of this writing, Alex De Campi has gone protected with her tweets to hide from any reaction she might receive.
The whisper network in the comic industry is unable to realize they are the problem. By creating a culture of fear, they’ve made it so only strange male-feminists even can work within the industry, which is where most of these problems originate. By pushing identity politics so far, people like Alex De Campi have unfortunately made it so normal, well-adjusted people don’t get work in mainstream comics any longer. When the chips fall, we end up with sad situations like what happened with Ed Piskor of Cartoonist Kayfabe.

Damn right!!
Feminism means never having to say you are sorry.
You alluded to other allegations reported to your site privately. Without breaking confidentiality, would you be able to characterize them in a broad sense?
Feminism means never having to admit that the reason you failed is because men are simply better than you.
Yeah I’d bet money he made that up. He is a psychopath
He was a POS they all are!
“ always been really hard for women to come forward”!?!
The comics world seems to be full of mean girls now. What was hard about that?
