Another day, another anti-white racist in video games was exposed for spreading hatred and vitriol on X, and this time, a community manager at Bungie. It’s becoming a pattern of behavior that those involved in the games industry hold an overt hatred towards their customers, but more specifically, their white customers. It’s not at all surprising, though. Mark Kern, aka Grummz, has been doing a great job documenting all of these ills.
When the anti-white game designers and employees come together and lie to themselves and others that it’s ok to spread bigotry and hate for one specific group, their bigotry and hatred can only grow and spread. And fortunately for customers, these same people seem unwilling or unable to delete their vile history of racist posts in spite of how many of them have been exposed. Or perhaps they feel no need as their colleagues in the space will defend them regardless and excuse any of their actions.

This time it’s Liana Ruppert, the current community manager for Fallout, the Amazon Prime series, and former ‘co-lead of accessibility at Bungie’ whose past racist remakes have been published by Milke Kern on X. Their posts ranged from stating that the majority of white people are inherently racist, to repeatedly calling out someone’s skin color as an insult to justifying hatred of white people by falsely claiming that it’s ‘impossible’ to have hatred/bigotry towards that specific group.
Liana Ruppert would reply to the controversy by stating she wouldn’t defend the comments because there was nothing to defend against. Claiming that her actions and words speak for themselves, but then also saying that she’d been ‘healing’ with her work over the past 2 years, when they seemed to have stopped posting publicly about their anti-white racism. She then unironically said that the people condemning her were the ones who needed therapy to heal their hatred while ignoring her own. However, Liana Ruppert would be prompted to respond after telling someone to ignore the entire situation, only for Mark Kern’s post to be sent in the replies.

Liana Ruppert claimed that the posts were from 3 years ago or longer and also that they weren’t meant to inspire any hatred. Instead these posts were about addressing systemic racism. FandomPulse is unable to understand how calling someone a ‘mouthy little white boy’ is about addressing systemic racism. Nor can this outlet understand how ‘f*** Him and f*** all of the people making excuses for him and the thousands of white folks like him’ was intended to do this either. It reeks of deflection from a dishonest racist who is hoping for people to help make excuses for them and contribute to their lies.
These posts were all made around the time Liana Ruppert was working for Bungie and had been fired seemingly for her unprofessional conduct toward the Destiny 2 community. If that is true, then the ‘sudden growth’ she showed is little more than an attempt to keep her job. And given that she’s unapologetic and making up excuses for the statements she previously made, it appears that Liana’s views have not changed whatsoever.
Given that the current community lead for Bungie came out in support of Liana Ruppert, the racist remarks likely had little to do with it, especially as another Bungie employee would go on to defend their former colleague’s racist remarks.
The current Associate World Designer for Bungie called her an incredible person and a terrific friend. And given Collin was working with Liana Ruppert at the same time she’d go on her racist tirades, it’s hard to imagine that current Bungie staff don’t share her view that racism towards whites is ok. Other employees for Bungie did speak out in favor of Liana Ruppert as well. However, that isn’t where the drama ended, as Liana would then go on to post a poorly worded, anonymous e-mail that did nothing other than hurl out racial slurs.
It almost reads like the type of stuff Liana Ruppert and her friends believe is said in private by all of those mythical white supremacist gamers they like to talk about so much. Fit with poor grammar, bizarre sentence structure and an e-mail that literally starts with the n-word. It’s an embarrassing way for someone whose worldview is tinged by racism to retreat from accountability. Either way, it appears to have been a futile effort, as this didn’t manage to get much of a response. After claiming it’s impossible to be racist to white people, not as many of her ‘fans’ are willing to jump on claims she’s the target of racist attacks.

Nuclear Pyle says
She’s right.
Her horrible behavior does speak for itself.
She’d serve herself better by shutting up.
Figgy McGee says
I always love it when they say “the conversation is over”, then they keep posting and posting and posting, because really they’re incapable of shutting up.
Tony says
It’s clear both Cozmo and Collin MacGregor are evil sacks of shit who hate gamers and defend a racist pig.
Anti-Rationalist says
Send her support.
Yes, I will.
I send her support to get herself and all others like her removed from the entertainment industry.
Humanism is Satanism and a mistake.
DrPundit says
Not to mention she cancelled a former colleague in March 2020 with a false cancel culture campaign. And of course, escalated her career in the process.
Ask Melonie Mac. She knows all about it. Poor Workman.
