Creator Tim Kring’s Heroes franchise is set to receive a new infusion of energy with the announcement of Heroes: Eclipsed. This reboot, helmed by Tim Kring and his manager Jordan Cerf of Mosaic, marks a return to the universe of evolved humans grappling with newfound powers.

Originally airing from 2006 to 2010, Tim Kring’s Heroes garnered mainstream acclaim for its narrative and diverse ensemble cast. With its premise of ordinary individuals discovering extraordinary abilities, the series captured the imagination of audiences worldwide. The subsequent limited series, Heroes Reborn, introduced new characters while reintroducing familiar faces, further expanding the scope of Tim Kring’s superhero universe.

Heroes: Eclipsed aims to build upon the legacy of its predecessors, delving deeper into the consequences of power and the complexities of heroism. Set in the aftermath of the original series, the reboot explores a world where evos—individuals with evolved abilities—are awakening to their potential. Against a backdrop of familiar adversaries and new challenges, a new generation of heroes must rise to confront the threats that endanger humanity.

It turned from an exploration of things into a soap opera with the same characters. Oh, look, its not a world, its just one family, and betrayals in that family. At least as I remember it. It was good, and went bad, and I probably did not watch the end.
