Former Batman Artist David Williams Calls For Boycott Of DC Comics Because Of Tom King’s Blasphemous Wonder Woman

It’s been a bad week for DC Comics. The extreme wokeness in the comic industry is catching up to them on every level, and now their own former employees are saying enough is enough, with former Batman artist David Williams declaring a boycott on DC Comics for its anti-Christian messaging.

DC Comics has hated Christians for a while, promoting sinful lifestyles in its comics over the last several years. Books have been filled with LGBTQ propaganda aimed at children to try to convert them into these hedonistic lifestyles on behalf of the radical left.

First, they turned Batman’s sidekick, Robin, into a bisexual for a publicity stunt in 2021 that was met with fan derision. Not being enough, they turned Superman gay and made him a climate change activist at the same time.

Fans thought nothing could be worse than Tim Sheridan’s gay Green Lantern, a character trolling docks for homosexual prostitutes, while The Spectre lectures readers about how God approves of his degenerate lifestyle.

However, Tom King upped the ante to lecture audiences on Christianity, showing that his hero, Wonder Woman, opposes God and the truth with every fiber of her being and having the wicked stand-in for Donald Trump lecturing her with Bible Verses.

Wonder Woman #8 shows The Sovereign using his “lasso of untruth” by quoting Ephesians chapter 5, implying that the Holy Scripture is a lie. The scripture is about how wives must be subservient to their husbands as head of the spiritual household, and Tom King intentionally mocks Christianity by trying to portray that truth as demented.

Former Batman artist David Williams has had enough of DC Comics’ incessant lecturing on identity politics and their obvious hatred of Christians, calling for a boycott of the company.

In a post to X, David Williams stated, “I AM NO LONGER GOING TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT ANYTHING @DCOfficial COMICS. They have gone to far. #boycott #dccomics”

Several of his fans followed up by asking what happened with the company, to which David Williams linked Fandom Pulse’s expose on Tom King’s Wonder Woman #8, which shows the anti-Christian and anti-Trump screed in full.

David Williams has been working on independent comics in recent years, including Bass Reeves: West of Hell from Allegiance Arts. His work is a favorite of fans, and as a vocal Christian in the comic community, he is very well respected.

As the backlash grows against DC Comics’ wokeness, rumors of more relaunches of the line are coming, as ComicsBeat hinted there would be major changes in 2024. Some believe this alludes to the rumored Scott Snyder Absolute DC project, but could more sweeping changes be coming now that David Zaslav pulls the ultimate strings at the company? Only time will tell.

What do you think of former Batman artist David Williams boycotting DC Comics over Tom King’s Wonder Woman? Leave a comment and let us know.

Not just DC all of the mainstream and you should have been doing it years ago. Disney, Warner, Paramount, Netflix, Amazon, Fox, Comcast, Sony, Microsoft, Marvel, IDW, Archie, Oni, Image, Mattel, Hasbro, Dynamite, Titan, Dark Horse, Valiant, and all the others too!

I’ve been boycotting DC since Batman 50, from Tom King. It went downhill from around issue 22.

    Miracleman went off the cliff.

I don’t get how Tom King gets work.

This is proof that DC does not listen.
