Comedian Vito Gesualdi has been a long-time commentator on culture, movies, games, and more. His opinions are always unfiltered, and when he launched his IndieGoGo comic Superkiller in 2023, he promised his off-the-wall storytelling would be the same. Now, Vito’s made over $100,000 for his Superkiller graphic novel.
Vito is a gamer with a particular interest in Magic: The Gathering, often criticizing how Wizards of the Coast has ruined the fantasy card game in recent years with their consumer-unfriendly corporate moves. He’s also built a large YouTube presence over the years, many don’t realize, with over 246,000 subscribers.

He’s best known on that channel for a video where he did a comedy skit about vaping OnlyFans whore Bell Delphine’s bath water, but he also has made a lot of waves with his Star Wars commentary tearing apart the Disney iterations of the movies.
With an interest in comedy and film, Vito turned to comic book making because Marvel and DC Comics hadn’t been delivering what people wanted. He launched Superkiller as a comedy way to do a multiverse right.
The book has a lot of imagery that’s reminiscent of Mark Millar’s Kick Ass, another highly successful superhero franchise, but the similarities stop there.
It’s the story of multiversal agent Sam King, a man with a very unique (and deadly) career. Working for the mysterious Multiverse Reformatting Initiative, Sam’s job is to infilitrate worlds scheduled for cancellation and assassinate their primary hero. Doing so unplugs that hero’s universe from the cosmic circuit breaker, freeing up crucial multiversal energies and preventing all of reality from collapsing into itself.
Unfortunately, when your job involves the mass cancellation of entire universes, it tends to take a serious toll on your psyche. Not only that, but Sam seems to have been stricken with a serious case of amnesia, unsure of exactly who recruited him for this insane job or why he ever agreed to take it. All he knows are the terms of his employment:
Kill 100 heroes, and go home.
Going home. That’s the one motivation that keeps Sam going. It’s what convinces him to stand back up every time an alien superman punches him through a brick wall, or a beautiful Amazonian princess tries choking him to death with her magic lasso. Sam doesn’t even remember where “home” is exactly. All he knows is he’ll do anything he can to get back there, no matter how many corpses he’s forced to pile up.

Vito hits on several classic comic tropes with this idea and the book has been in crowdfunding since mid-2023. Now, nearly a year later, he’s hit six figures with tremendous success. The campaign nearly has 2,000 backers and Vito’s been expressing his excitement for this milestone over the last few days leading up to Superkiller’s popping the $100K mark.
The campaign is still available through Monday evening, but it’s getting ready to go to print.

Don’t promote him. He wants to have sex with children.
