Desperate to hide the heavy handed DEI treatment Gearbox gave to their latest video game in the Homeworld franchise, Gearbox not only pulled the interview with rabid leftist and Managing Director of Narrative Properties at Gearbox, Lin Joyce from the Homeworld web-page, but now moderators on the game’s official boards are also banning anyone who criticises the story, or merely ask whether Sweet Baby Inc. or any DEI narrative writers were involved in Homeworld 3.
Gamers have sent Kabrutus proof, and the reason for the ban is being cited as: “Inciting harassment of specific persons. Additionally off-topic and inflammatory conversation that contains racist or discriminatory content.”

Kabrutus looked into the issue and found that although there is no evidence of Sweet Baby Inc. involvement in Gearbox’ Homeworld 3, there were DEI narrative writers and influences involved. Kabrutus consequently put Gearbox’ Homeworld 3 on his Sweet Baby Inc Detected Steam page, marking the game as Not Recommended.
As if having rabid leftist Lin Joyce in charge of Gearbox’ Homeworld 3 narrative writing wasn’t enough, it appears from from the Homeworld 3 credits that at, apart from Lin Joyce, least two DEI groups were involved in Gearbox’ Homeworld 3. One is the academic Center for Digital Media who advocates for justice, equity, diversity and inclusion in games. The other is a Canadian based community group called Diversity in Games who, according to their web page: “care about curating a safe space for marginalized members of the games industry,” with a focus on inclusivity “we know there are many incredible people from all backgrounds and experience making an impact on the Vancouver development community, and we’re inspired to help make sure that trend continues!”
The ArchCast, video game culture commentator points out massive changes from the previous iterations of Homeworld as well as changes from original trailer to the actual Homeworld 3 game. It would also appear that massive changes were made after Lin Joyce got involved at Gearbox.

He says that the Homeworld 3 story line is a big disappointment, eschewing the hyperspace lore among other issues. In Homeworld 3 hyperspace now apparently have powers beyond transportation, and these lore violations conflicts with game play. He also pointed out that whereas previous Homeworld video games were written and presented as a massive space opera, Homeworld 3 now has a very narrowly story focused on 3 main characters: 1) Imogen S’Jet the protagonist, who now possess a massive chin after the DEI upgrades since the original trailer, 2) her intelligence officer Isaac Paktu, and 3) the antagonist – “the incarnate queen who pops out of nowhere” with range of explainable powers -who gets a sympathetic sendoff with Imogen saying she will end her pain and bring her peace.

There are three readily apparent aspects of the game where Lin Joyce’s DEI influence is undeniable. One is Imogen’s massive chin, which is in line with woke cultists’ believe that no female game character should have feminine attributes. The second is the addition of a diverse cast of characters. Where these characters were mostly faceless in previous iterations of the game, in Homeworld 3 they are now given faces, and they are diverse. The third obvious indication of DEI influence is the treatment of the antagonist. The antagonist is simply misunderstood and not really evil, because in line with woke cultist belief, women can never be evil.
It is probably too late for Gearbox to attempt to hide DEI influences in Homeworld 3, after all Kabrutus already added it to Sweet Baby Inc detected.

Imogen S’jet looks like a fucking trans man. A biological man “identifying” as a woman. Gearbox had Homeworld 3 complete before the first intended launch date. They let woke bullshit ruin the game. I have the original Homeworld and original Homeworld 2 games but I will not be buying Homeworld 3. Gearbox has lost all my respect. Also, all those woke agencies trying to push their woke bullshit agenda on games are complete idiots.
