This article made the rounds yesterday warning about church attendance being below 50%, but with church the way it is in America, it’s no wonder.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Americans’ membership in houses of worship continued to decline last year, dropping below 50% for the first time in Gallup’s eight-decade trend. In 2020, 47% of Americans said they belonged to a church, synagogue or mosque, down from 50% in 2018 and 70% in 1999.
There’s a few factors at play: one, it’s boomers fault. They failed to instill values in a younger generation by demonstrating constant me me me need for fun and didn’t uphold Sunday traditions.
The second major factor is of course the fake church. Who wants to go to Sunday service, see a bad rock band and drink coffee to get a woke pointless feel good message when they can just watch netflix and get it better from a secular outfit?
Pastors have turned away from the Bible, trying too hard to be of this world, and it shows. It’s why I came to the inevitable conclusion that Catholicism is the only real alternative to secular culture.
