Terry Moore has a cartoonist background with stylistic choices that veer more toward the Peanuts end of the drawing spectrum than the standard superhero comic. It’s made for a lot of fun, expressive moments over the years in his books and with side projects like SIP Kids, where he has been able to flex his newspaper-strip cartooning muscles. In 2000, Terry Moore released issues of his collected strips, doodles, and cartoons in the form of Paradise Too, which ran for 14 issues. Now, Terry Moore announced Paradise Too will be coming to Kickstarter as a reprint with a bunch of new material.
Paradise Too went for fourteen issues, some of which are hard to find on the collector’s market. For those who are into collected editions, there’s a softcover version of The Complete Paradise Too, which is going for $99 or more on Amazon for something that originally had an MSRP of $29.95.

Posting to X, Terry Moore leaked that Paradise Too would be returning as a Kickstarter project.
“Paradise TOO 2024 has a cover at last. I drew it yesterday and it’s off to Steve for color,” Terry Moore posted to X.
“Look familiar? Compare it to the cover from the original printing in 2010,” he continued, posting the Complete Paradise Too cover.

He spoke to the contents of the new book, mentioning that it would not necessarily contain the entire contents of the original fourteen-issue book he released years before, saying, “The new version I’m working on uses the best from the original book but I’ve drawn A LOT since then so I’m assembling a fantastic collection of my best cartoons and comic strips made from early days right through my book career so far. This will be a #Kickstarter book launching in a few weeks.”
With new content involved in the Kickstarter, fans will be excited to return to Paradise Too and see Terry Moore’s work in cartooning. “The new version uses the best of the old book but has a ton of new stuff,” he reiterated.
Terry Moore successfully launched his first Kickstarter project in 2023 with Terry Moore After Dark, a sketchbook featuring “good girl illustrations and sexy pinups.” The book was a wild success, with $182,701 raised by 2,257 backers.
The Terry Moore After Dark project featured hardcovers and variant covers that will please collectors who have followed Terry Moore’s work for years. Abstract Studios has been known to release limited cover omnibuses of projects, and Paradise Too has been on the list of fan-desired reprints in hardcover form to flesh out Terry Moore collections.
