Ryan Gosling’s summer anthem to manliness and the patriarchy won big at the Critics Choice Awards, and feminists, especially Billie Eilish fans, are furious. While Ken may feel that he’s “always number two” in the hit single, the track took home the gold for Best Song, even beating out fellow Barbie hits and the combined powers of Jack Black, Universal, and Nintendo.
The story of Barbie follows Margot Robbie’s titular character as she explores what it means to be a woman in modern society through the allegory of dolls. Ryan Gosling’s Ken became the unintentional breakout star of the film as the goofy but well-meaning sidekick, and later the cool antagonist. Lost in much of the culture war around the Greta Gerwig product was the ultimate message: men and women need each other to balance their strengths and weaknesses.
After winning at the Golden Globes, the Billie Eilish hit “What Was I Made For” from Barbie was expected to be a shoe-in for the award. This time, the raw, macho power of “Kenergy” could not be overcome.
Stunned Billie Eilish stans and angry feminists immediately unleashed their rage on X.
Feminists hated the addition of Ken because of his popularity. They complain that he distracts from what should be a movie completely about femininity and womanhood.

Other X users took the opportunity to flex on the haters and celebrate the award.
“I’m Just Ken” won out over two other Barbie songs, “Dance the Night” and “What Was I Made For”, as well as “Peaches” from the Super Mario Bros. Movie, “That Wish” from Disney’s Wish, and “Road to Freedom” from Rustin.
Other notable winners include Oppenheimer for Best Picture, Paul Giamatti in The Holdovers as Best Actor, Emma Stone in Poor Things as Best Actress, Robert Downey Jr. in Oppenheimer for Best Supporting Actor, Christopher Nolan as Best Director for Oppenheimer, Barbie for Best Comedy, and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse for Best Animated Feature. Oppenheimer topped the film awards with eight, Barbie won six awards, with The Holdovers winning three.

Well, Billie did say porn ruined her brain. Guess there’s still residual damage.

She’s a Misandrist Douchebag Herself. I don’t take her seriously.

Everytime with these misandrists.

What is it that feminists always say when fans complain about the M-She-U? “Cry harder”
Figgy McGee says
I love how shocked and confused the Twitter mob gets when something wins on its merits rather than “The Message”. In their minds, this isn’t the way it’s supposed to work.
BB Shelbie says
Bah, Barbie was a movie written by pedophiles mocking women for being mindless consumer drones.
Of the crap music. Ken was the best.
