Adult Swim Games, the gaming division of Warner Bros. Discovery, has sparked controversy by announcing the delisting of numerous titles from digital storefronts within 60 days. Developers have come forward, revealing they were contacted by the company and informed that their games would be removed from platforms like Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace, and Nintendo Switch eShop.
One of the latest developers to break the news is Team2Bit, the creators of the 2013 Steam release “Fist Puncher.” In an update on the game’s Steam page, Matt Kain expressed disappointment, stating, “We’ve asked that Warner Bros. simply transfer the game to our Steam publisher account so that it can stay active, but so far they have said no with the reason being that they made the universal decision not to transfer the games back to the original studios and do not have the resources to do so.”
The situation has left developers in a difficult position, unable to take control of their games and keep them available on digital storefronts. Additionally, they cannot offer discounts or sales before the titles are removed, and the exact delisting dates remain uncertain.

Please note that the titles marked with an asterisk (*) are no longer published by Adult Swim Games and should not be affected by the delisting. However, they were included on the company’s official listing.
The delisting decision has sparked concerns within the gaming community, as it raises questions about game preservation and the rights of developers over their intellectual property. Fans and players may lose access to beloved titles, while developers face the potential loss of their creative works and sources of revenue.
As the situation continues to unfold, developers and gamers alike are eagerly awaiting further updates and potential resolutions from Warner Bros. Discovery and Adult Swim Games. The gaming industry closely watches this case, as it highlights the importance of clear policies and transparent communication between publishers and developers regarding the long-term availability and preservation of digital games.
