Last year, pop culture and pulp expert RazörFist announced he would collaborate with artist GPrime85 on his first graphic novel. The IndieGoGo campaign was a huge success, with nearly 6,000 backers raising nearly $350,000 for the project. The concept looked like a Phantom, but in the Wild West, which was exciting for RazörFist fans and sparked a lot of buzz about the graphic novel.
RazörFist is known for his love of comics, especially the French Bande dessinées, and his big fan of pulps and classic heroes like the Phantom. His pairing with GPrime85, mostly known for his work in political parody cartoons and having made excellent full graphic novels on his own, was a great choice to launch his first comic book work.

Now that the campaign has been fulfilled, The Ghost of the Badlands is coming to a second print edition through Arkhaven Comics, a comic book company that’s put out some of the best works in the industry since 2017, boasting talents such as the legend Chuck Dixon.
RazörFist announced the release last night with a one-minute trailer on his YouTube channel highlighting some of the best art in the book.
Arkhaven Publisher Vox Day told Fandom Pulse that Ghost of the Badlands will be released in three versions for retail release: a monochrome version is shipping right now, followed by a color version in a month. Finally, and perhaps most exciting, a leatherbound edition will be released afterward.
Very few comics are ever printed in leatherbound editions, and with Arkhaven already involved in the Castalia Library editions of books, which have been printing classics in premium leatherbound formats, it’s a perfect match for RazörFist to bring the presentation of his product to a new level.

RazörFist and Vox Day have already teamed up twice in the past for releases of RazörFist’s pulp novels, which have received high reviews from fans.
The monochrome edition of Ghost of the Badlands is currently available in two formats—paperback for $19.99 and hardcover for $29.99.

Awesome! I hope Razor joins the Rippaverse too. Would love to see Razor explore other genres he’s a fan of the sci-fi genre, mecha, noir, pulp hero, and dark fantasy. Would love to see him do a western with more focus on the Civil War and a more accurate rendition of it like the Confederate soldiers lives post Civil War and what it was like fleeing the country.
