Of course, Starlight emerges as a symbol of opposition because of girl power and all that.
The dynamics between established characters like Butcher and Homelander, as well as the newer generation represented by Gen V’s Cate Dunlap and Sam Riordan, promise to propel the narrative forward. Internal power struggles and shifting alliances deepen the storyline, hinting at complex character arcs and moral dilemmas.
Moreover, the trailer introduces key players such as Victoria Neuman, a Supe with her own agenda, and Black Noir, whose mysterious reappearance adds another layer of intrigue. Why would they be priming Americans for Fascism? None of the people in American government, nor any candidate running for election are fascists.
They should be priming Americans for revolution no matter what your political ideology is, because the government is clearing only serving their own best interests, and the not the interests of Americans.
I read The Boys a number of years ago via the public library. Very overrated series. I liked Ennis’s Punisher MAX much better. I was told the tv show is actually better than the comic but I have no interest in watching it. I also don’t like the fact that they are using The Boys to comment on current events in the political world. Whatever happened to tv and movies that were free of politics and woke garbage??
Season 1 was enjoyable as while they clearly had their leftists bias, it was a bit South Parkish in still taking swipes at some of their own stupid ideology. Season 2 they started getting away from that and I honestly can’t remember shit from it it was so bad other than the muh girl power beats Nazis ending. Season 3 they went all in on “anything not left is evil” to ridiculous levels and frankly I’m just done.
