Almost every major retail service won’t let you get meme stocks as of today. The prices collapsed big. The institutions all got together to do a mass sell off while people held.
On top of it, all the institutions claimed their short positions were covered- which would be impossible with the stock values of these companies so high under normal conditions.
What occurred was massive Wall Street collusion against normal retail buyers on a scale that’s never been seen. There’s massive cheating and market manipulation going on to “reset to normal”, but very little will ever be done about it on the congressional level.
Meanwhile, the rest of the stock market is up about 2% on the news. They did a massive moral blow to the people without any consequence and they know it.
I still say shot selling should be made illegal. It’s not right to intentionally tank companies and livelihoods on borrowed funds. The system is set up to screw normal people.
It’s not over. They haven’t covered. The reckoning is coming.
