Couldn’t they have find a younger actress for Lilith?
Anti-Rationalist says
As one of my writer friends will tell you based on reading the inside scoop of the acting business, it’s due to the lack of new American acting talent entering the business.
A lot of the new acting talent they’re bringing in is imported From Britain due to a lack of new talent being trained or crafted in America. A lot of the would be American talent are sufficing as new media influencers on TikTok or Youtube, which looks to be their goal. Whereas the younger British ones are trained in stage and television acting.
They’re likely also choosing familiar faces.

The fact they’ve sat on the film for two years (it was “completed” in 2022), not to mention they only just released a trailer with just over 6 months to go before release, tells me that the studio doesn’t have much of any faith in the film, which means it’s probably going to end up being a discount clone of Guardians of the Galaxy.
